RUFFEY LAKE PARK

Public BBQ

Ruffey Lake Park is a wonderful spot to enjoy a relaxing day out with family and friends. The park is quite large with three different entrances and offers plenty of facilities including several BBQ areas, large seating spaces, and a decently sized playground for children. The walking trails around the lake are beautiful and peaceful, with good hills for a workout. There are also lots of grassy spaces for picnics, and plenty of open space for running around with dogs and kids. The park is well maintained and has toilets, water fountains, and walking paths that are accessible to prams. The lake is also stunning, with ducks and waterbirds to watch. The park is also dog-friendly, with lots of off-leash areas available. The only downside is that it can get quite crowded during weekends and public holidays, especially on sunny days, and there are occasional sightings of snakes.
